Brief

Live Entertainment Services were asked to event manage the annual dinner and Speakers UK, both wings of Creative Talent Management the after dinner speaker.

One major problem in the past had been that the event had always run terribly late due to guests not taking their seats on time and Accenture wished to remedy it.

Additionally, in breaking with convention, after the dinner there was to be a band playing, this was made up of some of the staff and most had never performed in public before. To be a success it needed careful planning.

Solution

Speakers UK where able to recommend David Kendall as the after dinner speaker.

Live Entertainment Services, with their specialist industry knowledge, were able to advise and supply, all the necessary equipment, personnel and support structures that go into a live band performance.

In addition they met several times with the Venue and Accenture representatives and were able to produce an event specification document that included all the necessary details.

To ensue timely smooth running of the event they supplied two event specialists on the night whose task was to oversee the operation and ensure it kept to time.

Success

David had them in constant laughter with tales of his days as a Bank Manager.

The band went down a storm and appreciated the professional support they got from the crew and sound engineers.
